The O.C.

We meet our main characters. Ryan Atwood (Benjamin McKenzie), an intelligent kid living in Chino, California, with his mom Dawn (Daphne Ashbrook), her boyfriend A.J. (Ron Del Barrio), and his older brother Trey (Bradley Stryker), seems to have trouble follow him. He never intentionally starts anything, but he suffers from "wrong place, wrong time syndrome. One night, while hanging out with his idiot brother, they are arrested after Trey smashes in a car window with the intention of stealing it. The major difference between this show and "90210" is that the non-rich outsiders weren't from the "wrong side of the tracks" more info


Monica Geller is a chef who lives in an apartment with her friend from high school, Rachel Green, a pampered girl starting her life over independently. Across the hall live Chandler Bing, a computer programmer with a dry wit and Joey Tribbiani, a not-so-intelligent actor. Phoebe Buffay is a new-age masseuse and was Monica's former roommate. Monica's brother, Ross, is a nerdy paleontologist whose wife left him for another woman. This group of six frequently hang out at a Central Perk or at one of their apartments, and get entangled in humorous everyday scenarios. more info

Chappelle's Show

David Chappelle is one of those comedians who has never had the spotlight. He has played mainly supporting roles in movies like Half Baked and The Nutty Professor, along with appearances on "The Howard Stern Show" and "Crank Yankers." Like his predecessor in getting his own show, Cedric the Entertainer, he went down the variety show path. Unlike Cedric, he is not playing it safe at all. With the semi-safety of being on Comedy Central, Chappelle can do many things that FOX would never allow Cedric to do. more info

Jerry Springer

Jerry Springer will mark his 14th season as host of one of America's most popular talk shows when the program that bears his name launches for a new season Sept. 17, 2004. Considered a cultural icon, he is a regular guest on The Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman, Politically Incorrect and The Conan O'Brien Show. He became a featured character in The Simpsons 1998 Halloween Special and played himself on The X-Files. He has graced the covers of Rolling Stone, Esquire and New York Magazine.
